Straight Through Processing Executed trades are sent from the electronic market to Anvil Order Management, and directed into the front office system. From there they can be routed straight to the back office.
Connections to Multiple Markets You can be linked to multiple electronic markets. The Market Connections monitor displays dynamically updated status information on all connections to the electronic markets. Market Announcements, list of messages pertaining to your selected markets, are automatically sent throughout the trading day.
Order Placement You can place orders on electronic markets with an Order Entry Screen or using Anvil's unique "sweep position" functionality. Orders can be created before the market is open or whilst trading is suspended and then submitted as soon as the market is open or at the appropriate time.
Position Management You can place orders on a selected market based on the your positions. Unsent orders can also contribute towards positions in the same way as active positions.
Market Overviews The Market Overview functionality in Anvil Order Management allows traders to query best market prices and generate a "hit" order with the click of a button. Market Overview reports best prices for the specified security, duration (for repo), and (optionally) order book for all the markets you subscribe to.
Order Monitoring You can view and maintain orders created in the market place. You can also pull orders and withdraw quickly from any chosen electronic market. The Order Finder produces a report detailing the status and attributes of all orders, according to your specified selection criteria.
General Collateral Substitutions For the repo markets, Anvil Order Management handles General Collateral substitutions.
Reconciliation Reports Anvil Order Management provides on-demand production of reconciliation reports detailing any differences between Anvil's systems and market perception and the status of orders and deals.
Dynamic Alerts Dynamic Alerts are a brand new concept form Anvil Software. Traders can stay on top of movements in diverse markets and take advantage of quick opportunities with the help of Dynamic Alerts, notifying them of market activity meeting their criteria. You can either have order monitors set up to track new order information or pop up boxes for high priority alerts.
Dynamic Alerts parameters can be set up for:
- New orders
- Changes in orders e.g. rate changes, spread change to your order
- Order removals
- Specific instruments, asset classes or dates
